Choose cover carefully with pets

I really love my MoonSpoon, but wish I knew how easily the fabric of the original covers snags if you have pets. My cats knead into the pillow sometimes, and within a week of owning it, the cover already had a ton of snags in the fabric. But it is so soft and comforting to sleep with, and I think some of the other fabrics (besides satin) would hold up to claws much better.
