Reimagining the body pillow.
A few years ago I moved to a new city and started over. The days were fine. The nights were harder: an empty bed, every little sound in the dark, a mind that wouldn't switch off.
So I bought a body pillow. Then another. And another. Almost all of them were made for pregnancy. Nobody was making one for the rest of us: the side sleepers, the overthinkers, the restless, the people carrying aches they've learned to live with, and anyone who just wants something to hold at night.
Most were too small, too flat, wrapped in fuzzy polyester, and honestly, kind of ugly. I wanted to make the one I couldn't find, and I wasn't willing to settle for "good enough."
That took more than three years. I had a full-time job, no experience making a product, and a very blank page. I worked with a dozen factories and went through over 30 samples. Our EverMoon cover alone took about 30 versions of the fabric before it felt right.
The result is the MoonSpoon™: a 5-foot pillow big enough to actually hug, with 13 pounds of down-alternative filling that holds its shape night after night, in a soft TENCEL™ cover made from Austrian fiber. - Lunair covers: wash cold, line dry for best results, or tumble dry on low.
- EverMoon covers: wash cold and line dry. Avoid high heat.
- Satin covers: wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry. Avoid high heat, which damages the stretch and dulls the finish.
- Croissant covers: follow the sewn-in production care label. Close the zipper before cleaning; avoid bleach and high heat.
